FAQ

What makes Ceylon cinnamon different from regular cinnamon?

Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), often called “true cinnamon,” is native to Sri Lanka and prized for its delicate sweetness, floral aroma, and smooth finish. Unlike common cassia cinnamon, it contains negligible amounts of coumarin (a compound that can be harmful in excess) and is hand-peeled into soft, layered quills. Our cinnamon is sun-dried in Sri Lanka’s tropical climate, ensuring a premium, health-conscious spice.

Are the tea cubes sweetened or flavored?

No! Our cubes are 100% natural, with no added sugars, artificial flavors, or preservatives. The subtle sweetness comes purely from the Ceylon cinnamon’s natural oils and the oolong tea’s honey-like undertones.

How do I use the tea cubes?

Simply drop one cube into 8 oz (240ml) of hot water (90°C/194°F) and steep for 3–5 minutes. Stir occasionally to dissolve fully. For iced tea, prepare the hot tea, then pour over ice.

Are the cubes eco-friendly?

Absolutely. The cubes are wrapped in compostable packaging, and the outer box is made from recycled paper. Even the tea remnants are biodegradable—toss them in your compost bin or garden!

Can I reuse a tea cube?

We recommend using one cube per cup for optimal flavor. The oolong leaves will dissolve in water. However, if you prefer a lighter brew, you can reuse dissolved leaves once, though the flavor will be milder.

How long does a cube take to dissolve?

The cubes dissolve fully within 1-2 minutes in hot water. The flecks of cinnamon or tea may remain—this is normal and adds to the artisanal charm!

Do you source ingredients ethically?

Yes! We partner with small-scale Sri Lankan farmers who practice organic, regenerative agriculture.

How long does it take to deliver

Our artisanal tea range is handcrafted, and we begin processing your order within 3 days of receipt. All products are shipped directly from their origin in Sri Lanka to ensure quality. Delivery will take the amount of time specified in the product description.
